Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus was founded in St. Mary’s Parish in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882 by Fr Michael J. McGivney. These Catholic men banded together to:

Be a strong pillar of support for their priests and bishops;
Be of service to the Church and Community;
Strengthen families and family life;
Strengthen themselves and each other in the Faith;
Aid one another in times of poverty, sickness or death.
